1. Who we are

The Site is operated by Swati K & Co., Chartered Accountants, a partnership firm registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India under Firm Registration Number 021392S, with its principal place of business at No 8/2, 3rd Floor, 2nd Main Road, Kamalanagar, Chamrajpet, Bengaluru 560018, Karnataka, India.

2. Permitted use

• You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your personal, non-commercial reference and for evaluating whether to engage our services.
• You may share links to articles and pages on social media, in emails, or in professional communications.
• You may use the calculators on the Tools section for personal estimation, subject to the disclaimer on each calculator page.

3. Not permitted

• Republishing or commercially exploiting Site content (articles, calculators, copy) without written permission.
• Scraping or automated harvesting of Site content beyond standard search-engine crawling. Bots and scrapers are subject to rate-limiting; abuse may result in IP blocks.
• Misrepresenting your identity in any form submission.
• Using the Site, the contact form, or the floating Talk-to-us widget to send spam, threats, or unlawful content.
• Decompiling, reverse-engineering, or extracting the source HTML/CSS/JS for the purpose of replicating the design or systems for a competing service.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, the “Swati K & Co.” wordmark, articles, the design system — is the property of Swati K & Co. or its licensors, and is protected under Indian copyright and trademark law. The CA India tricolor mark is the property of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is used here under ICAI’s member-firm guidelines.

5. Information accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep articles and calculators current, including citing source notifications, sections of the Income-tax Act, GST notifications, RBI circulars, and ICAI announcements. However:

• Tax law, rates, thresholds, and procedural requirements change frequently. Articles reflect the position as of the date noted on the article and may become out-of-date.
• Calculator outputs are indicative only and not a substitute for professional advice. Specific facts can change the result.
• Linked third-party content (government portals, news outlets, commentary sites) is provided for convenience; we do not endorse and are not responsible for its content.

6. Engagement disclaimer

Use of the Site does not create a chartered-accountant–client relationship. A formal engagement begins only with a signed engagement letter from Swati K & Co. If you submit a contact form or schedule a meeting, we will treat the information confidentially but no client relationship is established until an engagement letter is countersigned.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

• We are not liable for any losses arising from reliance on Site content without engaging us for tailored professional advice.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Site.
• Our total aggregate liability arising from your use of the Site is limited to INR 1,000.

8. Forms and submissions

Submissions through the contact form, careers form, or Talk-to-us widget are governed by our Privacy Policy. We use a hidden honeypot field and rate-limiting to deter spam; if you submit more than three messages from the same IP within an hour, the system will throttle further submissions.

9. External links and Outlook Bookings

The Site links to external services including Outlook Bookings (for scheduling), Google Maps (location embed), the firm’s WhatsApp number, the firm’s Google Business Profile, and various government / regulatory portals. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. Following an external link is at your own discretion.

10. Changes to terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
