We take in a small number each year. The cohort is small on purpose — a partner can know your work by name, not by spreadsheet. Two routes into the practice: structured CA Articleship for students under the ICAI New Scheme, and B.Com / M.Com Internships for commerce graduates exploring the field.
Practical training under the ICAI New Scheme of Education and Training, effective 1 July 2023. Rotations across audit & assurance, direct tax, GST, ROC, valuations and advisory — you work with the partner on the engagement, not for an associate two layers down.
For commerce graduates and final-year students who want to learn what taxation and audit actually look like before choosing a path. Deep exposure, a real desk, real files — not a coffee-and-photocopy internship.

Two years is long. We asked our alumni what stuck.
I am working as an Article Assistant at Swati K and Co. for the past 19 months. During this time, I have gained good practical knowledge and exposure in accounting and finance. The office environment is very supportive, and I have learned a lot from the guidance of the chartered accountants. I also got opportunities to interact with clients, which helped me understand practical work better. Every assignment has added to my learning experience. I also cleared my CMA Final Examination during this period. Overall, it has been a very valuable and learning experience for me.
